Vince Sewalt leads the Product Stewardship & Regulatory function of DuPont Industrial Biosciences, a DowDuPont business unit that develops industrial biotechnology products aimed at improving sustainability of the bio-based economy. With over 20 years’ experience managing innovation and market access of biotechnology products, Vince is passionate about capacity building in biotechnology oversight for emerging markets and new applications. He has shared his insights in biotechnology risk assessment, effective communication, and acceptance in recent food and biotechnology conferences, with trade associations, with think tanks such as Woodrow Wilson and the National Academy of Sciences, with FAO/WHO, and with the US FDA and other regulatory agencies globally. Vince is Chair of the Enzyme Technical Association, Vice-Chair of the BIO-IES Board, and Associate Editor of the journal Industrial Biotechnology.
