Kyle Watters, postdoctoral fellow at Doudna Lab.
Kyle Watters is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. Jennifer Doudna at the University of California Berkeley, where he is studying the interplay between CRISPR prokaryotic defense systems and the countermeasures used by invading mobile genetic elements. Prior to joining the Doudna Lab, he received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University for his work on RNA structure-function relationships and RNA synthetic biology. He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
