Ian is a scientist and science communicator. His writing has appeared in Scientific American, RealClearScience, Salon, the International Business Times, and more than 30 other online outlets. Ian is pursuing a PhD at the University of Washington’s Institute for Protein Design and received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis. Ian is also a Science Communication Fellow at the Pacific Science Center in Seattle.
