Bethan Wolfenden, Co-founder of Bento Lab
Bethan Wolfenden is Co-Founder of Bento Bio, aiming to do for biotechnology what Raspberry Pi and Arduino have done for electronics and computing – making it accessible and affordable to all. She is one of the creators of Bento Lab, the world’s first easy-to-use laptop-sized DNA laboratory.
Her interests include synthetic biology and the study of the gut microbiome. Previously, she studied biochemistry at University College London. Outside the lab she is interested in science communication, education and citizen science.
