Andrey Buynevich, co-founder and scientific director of DiploBio
Andrey Buynevich, studying at a master’s program at the Faculty of Biology at Lomonosov’s MSU, is researcher in RVOS (Restoration of Vision by Optogenetic Solutions)- the largest optogenetic prosthetics project in Russia, aimed at returning of human visual functions. Defended his project work on the study of cognitive changes in monkeys after exposure to radiation equivalent to cosmic radiation. Scientific interests extend to biotechnology, neuroscience and molecular biology.
Andrey is the co-founder and scientific director of DiploBio, bioaccelerator company, engaged into pushing up biological startups. DiploBio works in partnership with SciencePark and has developed more than 15 successful biological companies during 2017 year.
